Awards 2024

The agricultural landscape in India has undergone a remarkable transformation since the Green Revolution. Today, a new revolution is unfolding within the agriculture sector, propelled by the relentless dedication of farmers, progressive government policies, sustained interventions by institutions and corporations, and the innovative solutions offered by startups and individuals. The pivotal roles played by these stakeholders in driving growth and fostering value-added transformation within India's agricultural sector are commendable and warrant recognition and accolades.

In response to the imperative to acknowledge the contributions of various stakeholders in agriculture at the national level, our magazine has taken the initiative to honour and incentivise individuals and organisations who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in agriculture. The inception of the Agriculture Leadership Awards in 2008 marked the initial stride in this direction.

These prestigious awards are conferred annually across various categories to honour individuals and organisations for their outstanding contributions in their respective fields. The National Awards Committee, chaired by Hon’ble Mr. Justice P. Sathasivam, comprises a distinguished panel of a dozen national luminaries. A rigorous selection process, employing a two-tier system, ensures the utmost integrity in the awarding process. Sub-committees, each led by a member of the National Committee, meticulously review all applications and nominations received by the Awards Secretariat. Subsequently, they recommend deserving candidates to the National Committee for final selection.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on July 11, 2024, in New Delhi.

We encourage all eligible individuals and organizations to submit their nominations/applications before June 25, 2024. Online submissions are preferred for expediency and efficiency.
